Charles Russell Speechlys advises FairXchange on investment from United Fintech

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised data-science firm FairXchange Ltd on the acquisition of a 25% stake by United Fintech Ltd which acquires and scales innovative fintechs in capital markets, creating a go-to Fintech platform to help banks to accelerate their transition to a digital world. This is the first transaction in a multi-stage acquisition towards full ownership.

FairXchange was founded in 2016 by Guy Hopkins, a former Morgan Stanley executive, to bring clarity and transparency to execution performance through the provision of independent data. Its state-of-the-art analytical product, Horizon is designed to facilitate constructive, data-driven dialogue between counterparties, helping them to identify mutually profitable opportunities.  The part acquisition by United Fintech will enable FairXchange to join the United Fintech platform, increase its reach and work in partnership with United Fintech’s highly experienced global team.
