Solicitor Apprenticeships
Law is an exciting career prospect for many, but university isn’t always the right choice for every person.
We offer Solicitor Apprenticeships in our Guildford and London offices.
Whether you want to avoid university fees or you are keen to get stuck in and work straight away, our Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme gives you to a great alternative route to qualify as a Solicitor.
Our established programme has been running for seven years so we know how to help you achieve your goals and how to support you along the way.
During our six-year programme, you’ll study for an LLB degree in Legal Practice, build your career and become a qualified solicitor whilst working and earning without having to pay the university fees.
Find out how to apply for our Solicitor Apprenticeships programme here.
Eligibility
Who can apply? Our apprenticeship is designed for those who have not started at university or completed your 1st year of a non-law university course. You can apply from Year 13 onwards.
Academics: For our solicitor apprenticeships, you’ll ideally have achieved or be predicted at least BBB at A-Level (or equivalent) and 8 GCSE’s grades 9 – 4 including English and Maths.
What if I don’t meet the grades? We don’t automatically reject based on grades. You would be welcome to still apply. Please detail any mitigating circumstances that impacted your exam results when you make your application to us (there is space within our online application form to do this under the ‘additional information’ section under the Education page, or under the ‘Extenuating Circumstances’ section).
We do not recruit on a rolling basis for our roles.
Visas: We are unable to sponsor VISAs for this programme.
Work Experience
Please note, we are only able to offer work experience opportunities on set dates in the year which are advertised on our Early Talent website. We are unable to offer ad-hoc work experience or placements in any of our offices (both across the UK and internationally). All work experience opportunities are made by submitting an application on our website and are via our advertised opportunities only.
Applications for our Solicitor Apprenticeships are now closed.
We will open applications in October 2026. You can register your interest here and our Early Talent team will let you know when applications are open.
