Charles Russell Speechlys advises Development Partners International and Verod Capital Management on investment into Pan African Towers

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised joint clients Development Partners International and Verod Capital Management on their strategic investment into Pan African Towers, Nigeria’s leading provider of digital infrastructure.

This investment from Development Partners International (DPI), a premier investment firm focused on Africa, and Verod Capital (Verod), one of the continent’s leading investment management firms, will enable Pan African Towers to grow its business sustainably while actively reducing the carbon footprint of its network to uphold best-in-class ESG practices.

Both Adefolarin Ogunsanya, Partner at DPI and Adeoye Daniel, Principal of Verod Capital, commented:

Thank you to Adrian and the team for their support on this investment. Their experience of advising on cross border and African M&A was extremely helpful throughout and the guidance and support was hugely appreciated.

Adrian Mayer, Corporate Partner, commented:

We were delighted to support both Development Partners International and Verod Capital Management on this matter and look forward to seeing how their investment will help sustainably develop digital infrastructure in the region.

The team was led by Corporate Partner Adrian Mayer and with support from Corporate Legal Director Edward Robinson and Associate Shane Thompson. The wider team included Robert Birchall, Helen Coward, Tessa Newman, and Lewis Currie (Tax), and Caroline Greenwell and Abigail Rushton (Disputes).
