He has worked with clients from a variety of sectors, including real estate, technology, aviation and healthcare. Clients include listed PLCs with international interests through to fast-growing owner-managed SMEs. Edward has been involved in a large number of corporate transactions for a variety of client across sub-Saharan Africa. Edward also has a particular expertise in the area of Family Investment Companies (FICs).
Edward has worked closely with accountants and tax advisers at national and international level to create bespoke FICs for a wide range of high net worth and ultra-high net worth families.
Some of Edward’s experience includes:
- Advising a Main List plc on its acquisition of companies in Malaysia and Italy, and drafting prospectuses for shareholder approval
- Restructuring a client’s airline business
- Assisting a newly incorporated company with initial fundraising rounds, investment agreements and employee share schemes
