Charles Russell Speechlys advises Farfetch on its joint venture agreement with Clipper Logistics plc

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised the leading online luxury retail platform Farfetch on a joint venture agreement with Clipper Logistics plc to provide a pan-European e-fulfilment and returns management service.

The new joint venture, whose operations will be based in the Netherlands, will support the continued growth of the Farfetch marketplace, which connects customers in almost 200 countries worldwide with over 1,400 brands, boutiques and department stores.

Working on this joint venture agreement highlights our key strengths in advising fast-growing retailers and technology companies on complex commercial contracts and cross-border corporate transactions.

The Charles Russell Speechlys team was led on the Corporate side of the joint venture by Partner Andrew Clarke and Associate Nathan Lightman, with support from Trainee Nia John. Jason Saiban (Commercial Partner), and Caroline Swain (Commercial Senior Associate), led on the commercial agreements relating to the joint venture.
