Charles Russell Speechlys advises Puma Property Finance on the funding of a new 150-bed hotel development

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised Puma Property Finance on a GBP23 million investment to fund the development of a new 150-bed “Hampton by Hilton” hotel in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

The hotel is scheduled to complete in April 2021 and will be a landmark feature in the town’s new GBP150 million Handy Cross Hub development.

Managing Director at Puma Property Finance, Kevin Davidson said: “It was great to work with Danny and the wider Charles Russell Speechlys team on this difficult transaction with a number of parties involved and the deal closing during Covid19 lockdown. Charles Russell Speechlys did a great job in pulling the whole legal package together to enable us to complete yet another successful development finance transaction. We look forward to undertaking further deals with the experienced Charles Russell Speechlys team.”

Speaking of the deal, Danny Sullivan commented, “We are delighted to have worked with Kevin Davidson and his team on this transaction, which involved a multi-disciplinary team from our hotels practice. We look forward to working with Puma on further deals as they continue to expand their lending activity in both deal volume and size.”
