AboutEddie advises on a range of landlord and tenant issues including new leases, licences, rent deposits and other associated matters in the office, retail and leisure sectors. He also advises on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property interests and has experience advising clients on issues relating to strategic development sites.
Eddie has a broad knowledge and understanding of property finance transactions having spent six months on secondment at Lloyds Banking Group. He advises borrowers and lenders on real estate investment and development finance.
Eddie has been ranked in The Legal 500 2017 ‘Next Generation Lawyers’ category for commercial property.
Eddie is admitted to practise in England and Wales.
- Acting as part of a team for a private equity house in its acquisition of a portfolio of over 300 pubs (mixed leasehold and freehold) and continuing to act in its further investment in the industry and sales of some of the sites and advising on portfolio management issues
- Managing a large mixed use block involving new leases, licence for alterations, rent deposits and all associated landlord and tenant issues
- Acting as part of a team in implementing planning permission on a strategic site and subsequently selling off parcels of land to major house builders and registered social landlords
- Acting as part of a team for a large institutional lender in connection with providing a large investment facility secured over a regional office portfolio
