Charles Russell Speechlys advises EQT Exeter on the purchase of £102m warehouse from LondonMetric

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised long standing client EQT Exeter on the purchase of a 785,000 sq ft Northamptonshire warehouse from LondonMetric for £102m.

The property is currently let to Primark and represents EQT Exeter’s largest single asset deal in the UK to date.

The Charles Russell Speechlys team was led by Real Estate Partner Eddie Richards, with support from Mark White, Rachael Davidson and Carolyn Davies.

Eddie Richards, Partner, Charles Russell Speechlys, said: "We are delighted to have assisted the EQT Exeter team on this deal, securing another significant asset in the UK as part of their exciting growth strategy across Europe. The greater shift to online retail and the pressure on supply chains continues to fuel demand for storage and distribution space meaning that the big shed and logistics sector remains very attractive for investors and we don’t see that changing anytime soon."
