Charles Russell Speechlys advises on Trident Royalties’ US$28m Placing

Charles Russell Speechlys have advised Tamesis Partners LLP, Ashanti Capital Pty Ltd and Shard Capital Partners LLP as joint brokers to Trident Royalties plc, the growth-focused mining royalty and streaming company, in connection with a £20.2m placing and subscription for new Ordinary Shares.

Trident undertook the placing in connection with the acquisition of a 60% interest in an existing gross revenue royalty over the Thacker Pass Lithium Project operated by Lithium Americas Corp (NYSE: TSX: LAC) from an Orion Mine Finance Fund for a total consideration of US$28m.

The acquisition adds a significant battery metals asset to Trident's portfolio, which provides investors with exposure to large-scale projects in commodities well-positioned to benefit from global macro drivers and protect against inflation.

The Charles Russell Speechlys team was led by Paul Arathoon and included corporate trainee Amy Shuttleworth.
