Charles Russell Speechlys welcomes the New Year with the arrival of Corporate Partner Alexis Karim

Charles Russell Speechlys today announces the appointment of Corporate Partner, Alexis Karim. Alexis joins the Firm’s London office from DWF, and his arrival earmarks the division’s growth strategy for the year ahead. He joined the Firm on 2 January 2024.

Alexis is a corporate lawyer specialising in corporate private M&A, as well as private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) work. His client base includes both mid-size, large and growth corporates, PE and VC sponsors, family offices, management teams and investee companies. Alexis’s practice spans a number of sectors, most notably healthcare and life sciences, financial services and technology.

At Charles Russell Speechlys, Alexis will be looking to develop his work for corporates and mid-market PE institutions, and to work alongside the wider team to drive forward mandates in sectors which align to the Firm’s key focus areas.

David Coates, Partner comments:

“Having Alexis on board allows us to further expand our corporate M&A, private equity and venture capital offerings in line with client demand. His skill set complements our wider corporate practice and his appointment is a nod to the Firm’s continued growth of key teams within our Business Advisory & Transaction Services Division.”

Alexis Karim, Partner, adds:

“Joining Charles Russell Speechlys provides me with an exciting opportunity to continue to develop my mid-market corporate M&A and private equity practice and I look forward to playing my part in the impressive growth of the Corporate offering within the Firm. I am delighted to join the Firm’s skilled team of corporate lawyers and I am excited to see what 2024 has in store.”
