Charles Russell Speechlys announces the launch of a new podcast series ‘Client Conversations’

Charles Russell Speechlys is launching a new podcast series called ‘Client Conversations’, hosted by Managing Partner, Simon Ridpath, and Senior Partner, Bart Peerless. The podcast will seek to provide an interesting and entertaining perspective on the world of private capital and will feature a different guest each month.

The series will launch on 7th March 2023, with subsequent episodes released monthly thereafter. Businesswoman and philanthropist Dame Stephanie Shirley CH, who has pioneered a career in the information technology sector, joins Simon Ridpath and Bart Peerless as the first guest in the first season. Other guests include:

  • Sir Martin Smith – Sir Martin has been involved in the financial services sector for more than 40 years. He was a founder and senior partner of Phoenix Securities.
  • Neil Hedges – Neil has advised businesses across all sectors on their communications approach and co-founded two successful PR agencies, Headland and Fishburn Hedges.

Simon Ridpath, Managing Partner, commented: “We are excited to launch our new podcast series, Client Conversations. We are privileged at Charles Russell Speechlys to work with incredible clients every day, and we are looking forward to bringing their varied and interesting stories to a wider audience through this podcast.”

Bart Peerless, Senior Partner, commented: “Having advised clients in the private capital sector for several decades, I know first-hand the relationship that is formed between client and advisor. Through this podcast series, we have been able to have in-depth conversations with our clients about their careers, how they’ve worked with advisors and have heard their advice for future entrepreneurs.”

Client Conversations is the latest podcast from Charles Russell Speechlys and follows sector-specific series including Property Patter and ‘What’s new in employment law’, hosted by Charles Russell Speechlys’ Partners. Client Conversations will be the first podcast series hosted by Simon Ridpath and Bart Peerless.

Each episode will discuss the guest’s career and the role advisors have had in the process, including anecdotes and personal stories. It will also include a summary of the latest trends taking place in the private capital sector.
