Charles Russell Speechlys advises Aciturri Aeronáutica, S.L.U. on the acquisition of Malichaud Atlantique from Chromalloy

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised Spanish aerospace company, Aciturri Aeronáutica, S.L.U. on the acquisition of Malichaud Atlantique from Chromalloy, a French provider of maintenance, manufacturing and repair services for gas turbine engines.

Aciturri is a family owned, founder led business which designs, develops, manufactures, and assembles aeronautical structures and engine components. The acquisition of Malichaud Atlantique marks an important step forward in Aciturri’s strategic objective to position itself as a Tier 1 supplier in the aeronautical engine components market.

The Charles Russell Speechlys team co-ordinated with various law firms and worked across multiple jurisdictions including Spain, France and the UK on this transaction.

The Charles Russell Speechlys team was led by Corporate Partner, James Broadhurst, with support from Senior Associate, Nathan Lightman and Pei Li Kew and Pierre-Adrien Mayot, Associates. Partner, Helen Coward, assisted on the tax side and Charles Mallows, Associate provided support on the commercial side.

Fidal also provided advice to the buyers on the French law elements of the transaction.
