The Lawyer covers the recent growth and strategy of our corporate practice

The Lawyer covers the growth and trajectory of our corporate practice, following an interview with David Collins, Partner and head of our Business Advisory & Transaction Services Division. The story comes off the back of a spate of lateral hires into the transactional side of our business near the start of 2024.

The article notes that our firm has "hit the ground running on partner hires in the first quarter of 2024", and then goes onto cover the intersection of our private client expertise with corporate and our private capital focus, two of our recent deals (in which we advised Microba Life Sciences and Stonegate), and our focus on long-term relationships with clients. David explains:

Most of the new transactional work we’ll take on won’t have just come cold off the street, there will often be a link with someone we already know – perhaps a colleague or an intermediary referral; a management team member we have previously advised who has moved on to another venture; or family offices or private equity that are transacting within their portfolios.
