Charles Russell Speechlys wins Deals Legal Advisor of the Year at the Private Equity Africa Awards 2022

The Charles Russell Speechlys Africa team is delighted to announce we have been awarded the Deals Legal Advisor of the Year Award at the Private Equity Africa Awards 2022.

This award covers work over the last 12-18 months and includes deals such as Ascent Rift Valley Fund II (ARVF II) and Daystar Power and covers work undertaken by many at the Firm, across various offices and from different groups. We were also named a Top Contender in the Legal Services: Single Deal category for Metier's US$39m investment into Africa Mobile Networks.

Adrian Mayer, Head of our Africa team said “This is great recognition for the Firm and for the work of the Africa Team. This good news follows a number of announcements of recent deals the Africa Team has worked on in the last few weeks - a huge well done to all involved.”
