Charles Russell Speechlys advises David Lloyd Leisure on its acquisition of the Geneva Country Club

A multidisciplinary team from the Geneva office have advised David Lloyd Leisure, Europe’s leading health, sport and leisure group, on its acquisition of the Geneva Country Club.

The acquisition should be finalised in April and will make the Geneva Country Club the 124th club of the group and its first club in Switzerland and the second in the Geneva area after the City Green Sport and Health Club in Veigy-Foncenex.

Olivier Cavadini, Corporate Partner who led on the deal, commented: “We were delighted to assist David Lloyd Leisure on its latest acquisition. The business is going through an exciting time of growth, and we are looking forward to supporting them in delivering its future expansion strategy.”

A Swiss team from the Geneva office advised David Lloyd Leisure in this transaction. The team was led by Olivier Cavadini, and included associates Laure Cordt-Moller (Tax), Christophe Levet (Real Estate) and Rupert Ramsay (Corporate and M&A).
