Competition Appeal Tribunal issues judgment on Tobii/Smartbox merger appeal
The Competition Appeal Tribunal has largely upheld the CMA’s decision on the Tobii/Smartbox merger, but has quashed one part of its decision in relation to partial input foreclosure concerns. Click here.
- The European Commission has cleared the proposed acquisition of Omnova by Synthomer, both manufacturers of specialty chemicals. The approval is conditional on the divestment by Synthomer of its global vinyl pyridine latex business. Click here.
- The European Commission has cleared the proposed acquisition of Allergan by AbbVie. The approval is conditional on the divestment of a product under development by Allergan to treat inflammatory bowel diseases. Click here.
