思雅仕香港成功抗辩针对瑞士诺华制药(香港)有限公司 (“诺华”)提起的平等机会诉讼。
一名前雇员，其合同于2016年12月以裁员为由被解除，并向我们的客户提起诉讼，声称他们的雇佣关系因疾病而遭到解除。索赔人申索多项补偿，包括一封书面道歉、及近100万港元的赔偿金。
除此之外，我们的客户在审判的第一天就受到媒体发表的大量诽谤性言论的影响，这些言论暗示原告胜诉，我们的客户有责任支付损害赔偿金。我们迅速采取行动，成功地要求有关网点立即移除相关文章，以防止声誉受损。
2021年9月，经过长达六年的诉讼程序，法官驳回了索赔，并认定索赔方被解雇的唯一原因是裁员。我们在所有方面都取得了成功，各项索赔和请求约被驳回。我们很高兴能够帮助客户取得了这场重要的胜利。
