About

Sophie acts for landowners, developers and investors on all aspects of planning and environmental law. She negotiates planning agreements with local authorities and advises on planning applications and enforcement cases. She also provides specialist planning and environmental advice on real estate and corporate transactions.

Sophie is admitted to practice in England and Wales.

Experience

  • Negotiating and drafting section 106 agreements for residential developers and landowners, including those for strategic land developments in Kent.

  • Advising on planning appeals including managing a review of mineral permission appeal in Surrey and an enforcement appeal in Ealing.

  • Advising on varying planning permissions for a commercial scheme in central London through section 73 and 96A applications.

  • Advising on potential enforcement issues in relation to London based schemes including advice on certificates of lawfulness.

  • Advising a landowner on the impact of a Development Consent Order and assisting with an agreement to avoid compulsory acquisition.
