    Surveyors’ Refresher

Welcome to our Surveyors’ Refresher area

Building on our annual Surveyors’ Refresher event, we have created this area to bring together our guidance on various property issues. The aim is to give surveyors easily accessible, bite-sized information on key landlord and tenant topics. Whilst many of these topics relate to commercial property, we have also prepared guidance on agricultural tenancies and included information relevant to mixed use properties such as how termination and service charges work within residential tenancies. There is also wider guidance on issues such as when to use the important headings of “without prejudice” and “subject to contract”.

Our legal information here should be useful to all levels of experience, from those looking to pass their APC exams to more senior surveyors who need clear and concise insight to help their teams and their clients. Please feel free to give us your feedback on other property topics of interest or send us your queries via email or by getting in touch with any member of the Real Estate Disputes Team or your usual Charles Russell Speechlys contact. For recent updates including podcasts on latest cases and hot topics of interest to those working in real estate, head to our News & Insights.
