Conversion of the Bahrain British Business Forum to the British Chamber of Commerce Bahrain

The British Chamber of Commerce Bahrain (BCOCB), formally the Bahrain British Business Forum, has been established via commercial registration under the auspices of the Bahrain Ministry of Industry and Commerce. The organisation’s focus will continue to promote bilateral trade between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom. To generate active business outcomes for all member companies and businesses, both Bahraini and British, whether local, regional or global.

The BCOCB will continue under the leadership of Chairman, Khalid Al Zayani OBE and Vice Chair and Partner of Charles Russell Speechlys LLP, Paula Boast MBE.

Simon Ridpath, Managing Partner of Charles Russell Speechlys LLP, said:

Charles Russell Speechlys is delighted to be a Founding Member of the BCOCB, continuing to support this successful not-for-profit membership organisation, established 28 years ago to actively promote and build a community for companies trading between Bahrain and the UK.”

Paula Boast MBE, Vice Chair of the BCOCB and Partner of Charles Russell Speechlys LLP comments:

“This is a momentous occasion for the BCOBC community and a great recognition of the deep-rooted relationship between the UK and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
