Karl Masi writes for The Oath on the Financial Action Task Force

In March 2022, the UAE was placed on the ‘Grey List’ of countries under increased monitoring by the Financial Action Task Force.

The Financial Action Task Force is an intergovernmental organisation established to set recommendations and monitor global standards in respect of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.

In an article for The Oath, Karl Masi, Senior Associate, sheds light on the actions taken by the UAE’s regulatory bodies since the grey-listing.
