Before you apply for our Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme you must ensure that you meet our minimum criteria.
Applications for our 2023 Solicitor Apprenticeships have now closed. Applications for 2024 will open in October 2023.
You must have achieved or be predicted at least BBB at A-Level (or equivalent), 8 GCSE’s grades 9 – 4 including English and Maths.
You’ll submit an application form through our Apply 4 Law portal. As well as looking at your academic achievements, you’ll be able to demonstrate other key attributes such as teamwork, communication skills and drive. There will be some open ended questions for you to answer so we can understand your motivations for applying and you’ll also note any previous work experience. This doesn’t just have to be law related – for example, we ask you to include any of the below:
- Paid employment
- Legal and non-legal work experience
- Open days or insight sessions (virtual or in person)
- Volunteering roles
Once you have submitted your application, our panel of reviewers will review all applications. Those shortlisted will be asked to take part in a written task, and then if successful, invited to an assessment centre during the school Easter holiday 2023. Our assessment centre includes a range of individual and group activities - including a face-to-face interview - designed to assess the key skills required as a solicitor.
We are able to make reasonable adjustments for those who require it. In these instances you should contact us in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
Hopefully you have been able to get all the information you need from our website but if you do have any other questions please email early.talent@crsblaw.com.
