Open Days
Come along and see what we do for yourself.
We know it’s important to focus your applications towards law firms that fit with you rather than adopting a blanket approach. It’s important to get as much information as possible and a feel for the Firm before applying.
Apply for one of our open days to find out more about life at our Firm. You’ll hear from our Trainees, Associates and Partners about what it’s like to work here as well as the kind of work we do. Our Early Talent team will also run an applications masterclass and answer any question you have about our Training Contract application process.
Our next open days
We offer open days in our London, Guildford and Cheltenham offices that any university student or graduate can apply to (including those currently working). We also offer a non-office specific virtual open day.
Applications for our open days have now closed. We will open applications at the end of September 2025 for our December 2025 and January 2026 open days. You can register your interest here and our Early Talent team will let you know when applications are open.
Reasonable travel expenses will be covered, and lunch provided for in-person open days. As part of our Sustainable Recruitment Alliance pledge, we recommend where possible for candidates to travel via public transport.
Please note, you can also make a separate application for Placement Schemes or Training Contracts if you are eligible; they do not need to be applied for at the same time. You may wish to wait until you have attended an Open Day before submitting your application for a Placement Scheme or Training Contract so that you can make the most of what you learn during the day.
Eligibility to Our Programmes
Do you have minimum grades?
Yes, for our Apprenticeships we have minimum GCSE and A-level grades. For our Training Contracts we have minimum A-level and University grades. Please look at the below pages and FAQ pages to see these.
What if I don’t meet the minimum grades? You can still apply. We will look at the whole application. Please include any mitigating factors in the application form which affected your exam results. There is space in our form to include this within our online application form to do this under the ‘additional information’ section under the Education page, or under the ‘Extenuating Circumstances’ section).
International students: We accept international grades and courses. Please include your grades gained in your international studies from the age of 16 – 18 at school and your university grades as well.
Do you offer internships or work experience?
We are unable to offer ad-hoc work experience or individual internships in any of our offices (both across the UK and internationally). All work experience opportunities are made by submitting an application to our advertised opportunities on our Early Talent website.
We do not recruit on a rolling basis for our Open Days, Apprenticeships, Placement Scheme or Training Contracts.
