Ilona is an Associate in the Commercial team. She has experience in advising on a range of commercial contracts, in particular for the supply of services across technology, digital and advertising.
Ilona spent six months on secondment at a major international drinks group. During her secondment, she advised the business on a variety of commercial legal matters with a focus on global digital, technology and media procurement. She also advised on issues involving data protection and intellectual property. Prior to joining the legal profession, Ilona worked in fashion and retail buying for both luxury and high street brands.
Ilona is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
Experience
- Drafted and negotiated advertising partnership agreement between Vodka brand and streetwear label. Negotiated marketing terms and conditions including social media and influencer terms.
- Advised on renegotiation of high-value telecoms master services agreement with a key provider and negotiated data protection agreement.
- Negotiated client’s exit from a technology contract due to supplier’s material breach of contract, resulting in significant cost savings for the business.
