Charlotte is the Firm’s Head of International Relationships, supporting clients’ international ambitions and strengthening the Firm’s global connections. She coordinates business development activity across the Firm’s international offices in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, builds relationships within its Global Network of preferred firms, and works closely with key international organisations, including the International Bar Association (IBA) and a range of geographic and sector-focused groups.
With over 20 years’ experience supporting UK law firms in developing their global business, Charlotte has delivered international projects across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Her experience spans donor‑funded development programmes, government‑backed trade missions, large-scale conferences, and long-term relationship programmes.
Charlotte serves as Vice-Chair of the IBA Marketing & Business Development Subcommittee, part of the Law Firm Management Committee, working with the steering committee to deliver initiatives for both business development professionals and lawyers, including the annual High Tide event at the IBA Annual Conference. She contributes regularly to wider industry discussion, including speaking at the IBA Annual Conference and the Law Firm Marketing Summit in London, contributing to MD Communications’ annual What Lies Ahead publication, and delivering articles and webinars for the IBA.
Within the Firm, Charlotte is an active member of the Gender Network, having previously co‑chaired the network for five years. She now focuses on the Firm’s annual International Women’s Day activity as part of its broader DEI programme.
Before joining Charles Russell Speechlys, Charlotte headed the international team at the Law Society of Wales, supporting UK law firms in expanding their global reach and profile.
