She has particular knowledge of the law relating to rent/service charge collection, possession proceedings, breach of covenant, Rent Act 1977, Housing Act 1988, and long leases. Helen successfully acted for the Church Commissioners for England in the reported cases of Church Commissioners for England v Welthy & Harrison (unjust enrichment), Church Commissioners for England v Meya (clarification of a period of notice regarding a statutory periodic tenancy) and Church Commissioners for England v Koyale Enterprises (whether a default Judgment is a determination for the purposes of the Housing Act 1996).
