#10,000 Black Interns Programme

The #10,000 Black Interns Programme offers paid work experience to young black people in the UK. We signed up to the Programme and committed to supporting a minimum of two interns each summer over the next five years. In the summers of 2022 and 2023, we hosted three interns at our London office for six weeks.

We are delighted that following participation in the 2022 Programme one of our interns has accepted a training contract with the Firm and we look forward to welcoming them as a future trainee solicitor.

Our 2022 interns below have shared their insights on the #10,000 Black Interns Programme and their experience at the Firm.

Please note, applications for the #10,000 Black Interns Programme can be made directly through the #10,000 Black Interns website.  You cannot select a specific firm to apply for, however you can choose the type of organisation to apply for, such as a Private Practice or In-House law firm.  Your application will then be allocated to a specific organisation to review and process.

It is a great way to gain legal work experience! Make sure you give lots of detail around your motivations and what you are looking forward to getting out of the programme as part of your cover letter.
