Ludovic de Walden

It is with a great sense of regret and enormous sadness that we must inform you that our dear friend and colleague, Ludovic de Walden, passed away on Monday 2 November 2020 after a short battle with Covid-19. While we are still coming to terms with this dreadful news, our immediate thoughts and prayers are with Ludo’s family and friends during this terrible time. It is difficult to quantify the loss we all feel, both professionally and personally. He was a titan of a lawyer, with an immense depth of knowledge and experience. As his clients kindly commented in the latest legal directories, Ludo was “a genius; excellent at winning (he has the Midas touch) and gives always the right advice.” We certainly felt that golden glow at Charles Russell Speechlys and his flickering shadow will loom large for years to come.

We appreciate this news may come as a shock. We are working with Ludo’s family to support them in whatever way we can, and similarly for Ludo’s clients.
