We advise on high-value and complex investment transactions, joint ventures and tax-efficient structures, as well as the financing of investment projects in the UK.

Recent real estate investment experience
- EQT Real Estate – Advised EQT on the acquisition of a high value, Primark-let, distribution asset for £102m from London Metric.
- Derwent London - Advised on the sale of Derwent London’s 192,700 sq ft multi-let freehold interest in the Johnson Building, 77 Hatton Garden and 5-7 Cross Street EC1 to Eurazeo Patrimoine, the real estate assets division of Eurazeo. Approximate deal value £170m.
- BioMed Realty – We advised BioMed Realty on the initial acquisition of Granta Park in 2012 and since then we have acted on all letting, development, construction and management matters at the Park, including the development of new standalone R&D facilities for Illumina and Gilead. We then acted for Biomed Realty on its JV with Babraham Research Campus for the development and letting of a life science facility. We advised on the conditional acquisition by way of a 99-year lease of an 8-acre site at the Babraham Institute for over £120m and redevelopment into life sciences office and laboratory space - alongside the existing Babraham Campus.
- YourTRIBE - Advised YourTRIBE, a company specialising in good quality affordable accommodation for London’s students, on a £77m financing from Fiera Real Estate to finance two newly developed student accommodation assets; a 250-bed scheme in South Bermondsey and a 267-bed scheme in Peckham.

As part of our investment management service, we advise on all aspects of asset management including fund management agreements; and commercial, technology and energy contracts. We also advise on contentious aspects of investment management such as possession claims, service charge disputes and lease extension claims.
