About

Tegan has experience with a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters in the construction and infrastructure industry, including energy, transport and significant multi-use developments. Tegan's non-contentious work spans the full life cycle of a construction project, from risk mitigation advice through negotiation and administration to  completion. She regularly works with contract documents for a variety of projects, including standard forms, tailored amendments and full bespoke documents. Her experience in dispute resolution includes traditional litigation in the High Court, TCC and beyond, as well as alternative forms of dispute resolution such as mediation and adjudication. She has worked for a wide range of clients, from developers to contractors and consultants throughout the supply chain, insurers, and funders.

Tegan is admitted to practise in England and Wales.

Experience

  • Drafting and negotiating suites of contracts for significant development projects.
  • Providing specific and ongoing contractual advice to a JV on a large multi-use scheme at a transport hub.
  • Assisting on alternative dispute resolution and litigated matters involving high-value construction delays, defects and breach of warranty claims.
  • Experience on global product safety claims including group litigation and advising on liability and insurance coverage.
