Sydney Lee, Solicitor Apprentice
Sydney is a fourth year solicitor apprentice, with experience across a variety of sectors, and is currently working in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team.
Sydney has completed four seats so far in Real Estate, Corporate, Family, and Tax Trusts and Succession. She has a broad range of experience, having worked with a variety clients in each of her seats.
Sydney also works on the pro-bono disability benefits appeals programme, working on court submissions with different clients to appeal their disability benefits.
Sydney will qualify as a Solicitor in 2023.
- Working on a number of commercial property transactions, such as transfers, leases and licences.
- Assisting with various matters in relation to corporate mergers and acquisitions, and private equity investments.
- Attending client meetings, mediation and court hearings for matrimonial and children matters and assisting with the preparation of court applications in respect of those matters.
- Drafting Wills and Memoranda to Executors and Trustees, researching and preparing letters of advice regarding inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other relevant considerations.
