Sydney Lee

Sydney advises on a variety of tax, trust and succession matters. She has particular experience working with trustees of charitable trusts.

She has experience in preparing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and trust documentation. She also advises clients on tax and estate planning. 

Sydney also works on various pro-bono initiatives, including the disability benefits appeals programme, working on court submissions with different clients to appeal their disability benefits; and the Windrush Compensation Scheme.

Sydney trained at Charles Russell Speechlys and qualified as a solicitor in 2023. She is admitted to practice in England and Wales and is based in our London office.

Experience

  • Drafting key succession documents such as Wills, Memoranda to Executors and Trustees, and Codicils.
  • Preparing trust documentation to appoint and replace trustees, and to advance trust assets to beneficiaries.
  • Working on a large project to restructure and vary the terms of numerous trusts in order to amend the administrative provisions and introduce roles including a protector and appointor.
