Sophie joined Charles Russell Speechlys from Linklaters LLP where she trained. Since joining, Sophie has worked on a number of transactions including the sale of the majority shareholder’s stake in Bolton Wanderers Football Club and the £42 million sale of the Oxford city centre property development Oxford Castle, including the site of the Malmaison Hotel, by the Trevor Osborne Property Group. She also recently worked on the acquisition of Norfolk brewery and beer brand, Woodforde’s Norfolk Ales, by a private consortium of investors, and has worked on other transactions in the retail and leisure sector.
Prior to joining the firm, Sophie also completed a corporate secondment in the M&A Advisory legal team of Barclays Investment Banking Division, working on both public and private M&A transactions.
Sophie speaks Spanish, Italian and has a good understanding of French.
