Prior to joining the firm, Sophie worked in the area of structured products and gained industry experience in a private bank. She therefore has particular experience advising private banks and investment managers on their complex investment product offerings to UK resident but non-UK domiciled clients, including the tax treatment for remittance basis users and the tax characterisation of particular kinds of investments. Sophie was included in the 2018 eprivateclient Top 35 Under 35 list which recognises the rising stars of the profession.
