About

Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2012, Shivi has practiced exclusively in family law and is accredited by the Law Society as a Family Law Advanced specialist in Private Children and Financial Remedies.

Shivi’s work predominantly comprises high to ultra-high-net-worth financial disputes and complex children disputes, often with an overseas element. She frequently represents or is against high-profile clients and those who have complex international issues.

Shivi is well known for her pragmatism, meticulous preparation and compassion. She was described in the Legal 500 as being ‘superb with clients and [having] an excellent eye for detail’ (2021 edition).

Shivi was named ‘Family Lawyer of the Year 2020’ at the Citywealth Future Leaders Award and was invited to sit on the judging panel for the 2021 Future Leaders Awards. She was recognised in the Citywealth Top 100 Private Client Lawyers List in 2021. Shivi was awarded the ‘Rising Star’ Award in 2018 by WeAreTheCity and has been shortlisted for 'Career Initiative', ‘Mentor of the Year’ and ‘Rising Star’ awards.

Shivi has contributed to the book ‘101 Questions Answered about Separating with Children’. She has also written articles for the Surrey Times, lawcareers.net and Lexis Nexis on topical family law developments.

In addition to her private workload, Shivi is actively involved with a pro bono legal advice clinic, providing legal advice to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it.

Outside of work, Shivi is a former World Karate Champion and second dan black belt. She has represented England at three World Championship tournaments and her county and association in countless domestic competitions. Shivi maintains a keen interest in sport, health and wellbeing.

Shivi has also written and delivered workshops in secondary schools about controlling behaviour in relationships.

Shivi is admitted to practise in England and Wales.
