The range of projects that Sarah Jane has worked on is very wide, from Waste to Energy Plants, Shopping Malls, Offices, Hotels and Industrial Units to exclusive private country houses. She acts for developers, contractors, specialist subcontractors and all types of construction professionals as well as their professional indemnity insurers.
Sarah is admitted to practise in England and Wales.
- Advises international construction clients on large projects in Africa including retail, office, residential, hotel and entertainment/conference facilities . She has drafted and negotiated FIDIC based “suites” of construction documents for these projects including professional appointments, collateral warranties, building contracts, bonds and guarantees
- In the UK, advising in relation to the use of an amended FIDIC Silver Book contract for a multiple projects regarding energy from waste plants
- Representing a specialist sub-contractor in a series of adjudications regarding extension of time, interim payments and the final account for works. The sums in dispute run to several million pounds
