Sarah is the Firm’s Senior Pro Bono Associate. She is a qualified solicitor with over fifteen years’ experience in the pro bono sector both in the UK and internationally. Her previous experience includes senior legal management roles at global pro bono clearing houses, commercial private practices, frontline non-profit organisations, human rights institutions, Government Foreign Affairs Departments and UN institutions.
Experience
- Leads the Firm’s Access to Justice work including:

- Greece Pro Bono Collaborative - training and deploying our lawyers to Athens and the Greek Island of Lesvos to support asylum seekers in partnership with charity partner, the European Lawyers in Lesvos.
- Windrush Legal Initiative – partnering with the Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit to assist survivors of the Windrush scandal to navigate the complex process to apply for compensation under the UK Government’s Windrush Compensation Scheme.
- Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) - working with Central England Law Centre to represent undocumented children in their application for British Citizenship.
- Disability Benefit Appeals – working with Z2K to represent vulnerable clients in their appeals at the First-Tier Tribunal.
- Schools Consent Project – partnering with the charity to train our lawyers to deliver workshops in schools on the legal concepts of consent and sexual offences.
- Oversees the Firm’s delivery of pro bono advice for vulnerable individuals and small charities and social enterprises, as well as our legal advice clinic work.
