AboutSarah is a Senior Associate in the Construction, Engineering & Projects Group. She advises employers, contractors and consultants on a wide range of construction, civil engineering and energy projects, both in the UK and internationally. Her focus is on working with clients to avoid disputes and to ensure that, where disputes do arise, they are dealt with in the swiftest and most cost effective manner. She has experience of a wide range of standard form as well as bespoke form contracts.
In terms of dispute resolution, Sarah is experienced in negotiation, mediation, adjudication, expert determination, litigation and both domestic and international arbitration (under adhoc and institutional rules including ICC,LCIA, LMAA).

- Acting for a European engineering firm in an ICC arbitration concerning an infrastructure project in West Africa;
- Acting for a main contractor in obtaining a freezing order injunction in the TCC against an employer on a substantial leisure project in the UK;
- Generally acting for a wide range of clients in pursuing and defending claims for payment, loss and expense, delay and/ or disruption, negligent design, poor workmanship and general breach of contract, including claims for breach of warranty.
