Sarah graduated from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne with a Master's degree in Business Law, and from the University of Paris XII with a Master's degree in European Law and Tax Law. She also holds an LL.M. in Environmental Law from the University of Kent (United Kingdom).
Experience
Sarah has developed particular expertise in the following areas:
- Family wealth and business structuring. Sarah advises families and family businesses on structuring and estate planning, including the review and securing of Dutreil schemes, family shareholder agreements, pre-sale reorganisations and transactions, as well as wills, choice of applicable law, lifetime gifts, and division of property.
- Trust taxation and compliance. Sarah advises on the taxation and regulatory compliance of trusts and assimilated entities, including in situations where a beneficiary is a French tax resident or where the trust holds French-situs assets. She also assists foreign families with wealth planning through trust structures.
- Cross-border private client matters. Sarah advises foreign individuals—particularly UK, US, and Middle Eastern-based clients—holding assets in France, including the design of tailor-made holding structures for their French real estate investments.
