Robin is a commercial property partner specialising in development work. He has particularly deep experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in large and complex development projects, often in the mixed use and regeneration arenas. Robin's clients value his hands on approach advising throughout the entire development lifecycle, which has led to the successful conclusion of numerous award-winning schemes under his leadership. He is the firm’s client relationship partner for Land Securities, Bellway Homes, Persimmon, Berkeley Group, Higgins Group, Taylor Wimpey, Pocket Living, Helical Bar, Barratt Homes and Crest Nicholson.

Robin is admitted to practise in England and Wales.


  • Led the team on the recent conditional £65 million acquisition of Site 11b South Kilburn for Londonewcastle, in JV with Bouygues, involving complex back-to-back development agreements, DMAs and funding arrangements; the 1.7 acre site forms part of the £400 million South Kilburn masterplan - set to transform the area with 2,400 new mixed-tenure homes, and comprising 480m² of commercial space and 144 residential units, the acquisition of Site 11b marks the passing of a major milestone for the scheme
  • Advising Taylor Wimpey and London & Quadrant on the £300 million+ acquisition of Chobham Manor, a mixed use scheme which marks the first phase of the redevelopment of the Olympic Park; the scheme involves the delivery of around 850 houses and apartments, commercial space, community facilities and ample public space
  • Advising both building contractor Higgins Construction and development contractor Myatt's Field Development on this £150 million PFI contract encompassing nearly 1,000 properties; the scheme closed in May 2012, but Robin is still providing post-close advice, including development sales
  • Advising Pocket Living on its Greater London Authority-funded, 10 year, multimillion pound plan to transform inner London living for the intermediate market; there will be 4,000 homes on offer by 2023 and Robin's team is exclusively instructed on all of their developments over the next decade
