Renaud’s practice primarily focuses on investment funds, high-growth unlisted companies, family offices, business angels and entrepreneurs. He has acted on a substantial number of early to late-stage financing rounds and M&A transactions. He has developed significant expertise in venture capital deals especially for VC investors or company operating in the technology field. Renaud has also advised on a significant number of corporate group reorganisations and management packages.
Renaud and his team were included in the first Venture Capital Fundraising league table, put together by Challenges and CF NEWS in 2023. They were ranked "Excellent" for "Venture Capital" and "Highly Recommended" in the "Advising management teams" and "Lower mid and small-cap LBO" categories by Leaders League in 2022. Option Droit et Affaires ranked the team for "LBOs, the majority of which involve companies worth more than €300 million” as well as "Managers in LBO transactions" in 2022.
He is a native French speaker and is fluent in English.
He is admitted to the Paris Bar and holds a DEA in business law (Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne).

- Advised Biolog-id, a French health tech, on the Business Combination Agreement in 2022 relating to a proposed merger with Genesis Growth Tech Acquisition Corp, the Nasdaq-listed SPAC.
- Advised Resilience, a French health tech, on various matters including its 2022 fundraising of 40 million EUR.
- Advised OneRagtime, a French venture capital fund, on the fundraising for Staycation, a French start-up which provides hospitality services.
- Advised Foodles, a catering service company which uses connected fridges, in its 2021 fundraising of 31 M€.
