Remo acts for domestic and international clients in litigation and arbitration matters in the area of contract and commercial law as well as in debt collection and bankruptcy law. He also advises clients on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

About

Remo is a Senior Associate in the dispute resolution group of Charles Russell Speechlys in Zurich. He mainly advises clients in contract and commercial matters with an emphasis on the procurement of goods by private corporations. He has extensive experience in debt collection and bankruptcy proceedings, including the recognition of foreign judgments and bankruptcy decrees, attachments, negative declaratory actions, proof of debt and settlements. Remo also has a great deal of experience in employment matters such as advising on employment contracts, internal policies, terminations and termination agreements as well as executive compensation and retention agreements.

Remo holds a Master’s degree and a PhD from the University of St.Gallen as well as an LL.M. in business law from UCLA (University of California Los Angeles).

Remo is admitted to practise in Switzerland.

  • Obtaining inheritance certificates for Swiss assets in foreign estates within the framework of voluntary jurisdiction proceedings.
  • Advising on employment agreements and internal policies for medical practice.
  • Representing an employer in proceedings relating to the termination of an employment contract.
  • Defending international clients against requests of foreign authorities in international administrative assistance matters.
