  • Advising the Securities Commission of the Bahamas (SCB) in the global FTX cryptocurrency exchange insolvency, navigating its Supreme Court-appointed trusteeship in respect of $3.5 billion worth of digital assets.
  • Counselling a UK-based software development company on data protection compliance for the rollout of an AI model, involving user-incentivised data scraping from social media platforms.
  • Advising family offices and UHNW individuals on the valuation, taxation, custody, and trust structuring of substantial digital asset portfolios.
  • Guiding an AI provider on contractual provisions for the distribution and licensing of generative AI models.
  • Securing the world’s first injunction to freeze misappropriated non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in the landmark case Osbourne v. Persons Unknown & Ors [2022] EWHC 1021 (Comm).
  • Achieving permission to serve legal proceedings via NFT airdrop, a first for England and Wales and only the second globally, in D'Aloia v Persons Unknown & Ors [2022] EWHC 1723 (Ch).
