Paul is Head of the Banking and Finance group. His specialism includes all forms of debt and equity financing, structured finance, asset-based lending, securitisations and property finance. He advises lenders, borrowers, issuers and investment managers on a range of transactions and undertakes transactions in a wide range of property, financial and service sectors. He has significant experience in cross-border and international transactions. He has acted on many real estate financings in the UK, acting for the UK clearing and international financing banks and for borrowers.
Paul qualified as a barrister in Chancery and Tax chambers before joining Charles Russell Speechlys LLP. He formerly lectured, part-time (evening), at London University for its external LLB. He has published a variety of articles in legal journals and lectured at a number of academic and professional seminars. He undertakes transactions in a wide range of property, financial and service sectors, and has significant experience in cross-border and international transactions. Paul is ranked as a 'Recommended Lawyer' in Legal 500.
Paul is admitted to practise in England and Wales.
