About
Melaak joined the Bahrain office in 2019 and has been providing legal support across different departments and jurisdictions, including Business Services, Construction, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Private Client and Real Estate.
Prior to joining the Firm, Melaak worked for a local law firm providing support to the legal and commercial departments, gaining valuable experience in assisting with lawsuits and overseeing court proceedings in the Bahrain Courts.
She is fluent in English and Arabic.
Experience
- Working as part of the team on several matters arising from the administration of Awal Bank B.S.C (c) (In Administration).
- Reviewing and amending regionally recognised construction contracts such as the FIDIC 1999.
- Assisting with reviewing and drafting documentation in relation to master community projects.
- Drafting various types of corporate documents (i.e. share purchase agreements and memorandums of understanding).
