He then moved into investment banking at HSBC, Granville Baird and NatWest. In 1998 Matthew joined an interactive television company as Managing Director and built the business before selling it successfully in 2001. He then co-founded Palace Ventures, an FCA regulated corporate finance business specialising in media and telecom investments, including several EIS companies. He is a member of the ICAEW Corporate Finance Faculty and of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI).
Matthew is a director of and investor in a number of sport and media businesses.
