Mark advises on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property interests with a particular focus on leisure, offices, logistics and healthcare. He also acts for both landlords and tenants on a range of occupational matters, including complex pre-letting agreements where space is being developed or refurbished

Mark jointly leads the Firm’s Healthcare practice with a particular expertise advising operators and investors in the social care sector.

Mark is admitted to practise in England and Wales.

Experience

  • TDR Capital and the Issa brothers on the real estate aspects of their acquisition of Asda Group from Walmart, including advice on the financing of that acquisition.
  • Asda on the sale and leaseback of a portfolio of distribution warehouses.
  • Asda on the real estate elements of their acquisition of Co-operative Group’s petrol station business.
  • Lovett Care on the acquisition and financing of three premium care homes from Angela Swift Developments.
  • EQT Exeter on the development of their self-storage platform, and on the acquisition and leasing of various logistics assets.
  • Derwent London on the disposal of 40 Chancery Lane.
