Marjan has worked in Qatar for a number of years. Having previously worked as in-house legal counsel to a prominent Project Management company in Qatar, she has valuable commercial and practical experience from the client-side. She has regularly advised on contentious and non-contentious matters and has broad experience drafting and reviewing construction contracts as well as advising on a range of commercial matters.
Marjan also has significant experience working as a civil litigation solicitor in the UK and is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
Marjan is a UK registered Solicitor and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
- Marjan has advised on various construction projects in Qatar, including large-scale and mega projects.
- Marjan obtained substantial ‘hands-on’ experience through working in-house and having been involved in providing advice on company corporate and commercial contracts as well as providing advice with regards to compliance and risk.
- Marjan has provided advice on the potential threats and merits of disputes and potential Court/Arbitration proceedings.
- Marjan’s experience in construction law, commercial law, civil and commercial litigation (from both a Claimant and Defendant perspective) allows her to provide clients ‘all round’ practical and workable advice.
