Josh is a leading City-based planning and highways lawyer specialising in planning, highway, compulsory purchase and listed building issues. He writes legal opinions and gives strategic advice on planning applications, appeals, inquiries and the judicial review of planning and development-related consents for complex, high profile developments.
Josh advises clients across the UK development sector: family offices, housebuilders, banks, investors, retailers and leisure operators. He has particular expertise in large scale, urban, mixed-use regeneration and infrastructure projects, City of London development, PBSA, heritage and co-living resi development. He negotiates complex planning agreements for strategic regeneration developments e.g. in Stratford, Maidenhead, Newcastle. His clients include: Motcomb Estates, Dominus, Curlew, Marcus Cooper Group, Bloombridge. He is a committee member of the Planning Surveyors Club.
