About
Jeremy has more than 25 years’ experience in fund formation across the alternative asset classes, with over 18 years as a funds partner. He has a wealth of experience in acting as lead counsel for the formation of funds both in the UK and a number of other jurisdictions including Luxembourg and the Channel Islands. He has a particular interest in the formation of first funds and family office funds, providing practical advice on the set-up process, including as necessary setting up a fund manager structure, and co-ordinating regulatory and tax advice as needed on an international basis.
Jeremy also acts for investors into private funds, providing concise commercially focused reports and assisting with negotiation of terms and side letters. Jeremy joined the firm in 2024 and, as Senior Counsel, focuses on small number of key clients and matters at any one time.
Jeremy is admitted to practice in England and Wales.

- Advising an infrastructure manager on the formation of a co-investment fund to invest in renewable assets.
- Advising a fund of funds manager on the formation of two real estate focused fund of funds, one closed ended and one open-ended.
- Advising an asset manager on the formation of its commercial real estate focused fund.
- Advising a private equity fund manager on the formation of Channel Islands based funds and parallel co-investment structures targeting European wide investments.
- Advising a credit fund manager on the formation of its Luxembourg based credit funds.
- Advising a family office on the formation of a private equity fund with bespoke carried interest terms for the family office executives.
