He is experienced in handling commercial litigation, arbitration, arbitration related court proceedings and cross border disputes, including BVI litigation.
Jason obtained his Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from The University of Hong Kong.
Assisted in successfully obtaining an Award in an arbitration proceedings in Hong Kong involving dispute over a commercial contract made between a Tier-1 bank in Hong Kong and a leading IT solutions provider in relation to system development.
Assisted in obtaining judgment in the legal proceedings in the BVI for remedies arising out of liability for knowing receipt and dishonest assistance.
Resisting the opponent’s application for striking out the Statement of Claim on the ground that the Claims therein are barred by the doctrine of res judicata.
Action involving dispute between the attorney of the landlord and the tenant for vacant possession of a business premises and for unpaid rent and mesne profits in the CFI; succeeded in application to dismiss the action on the ground that it was not properly commenced as the attorney does not have locus standi to commence legal proceedings pursuant to a power of attorney.
Action involving dispute of the validity of the will and revocation of the grant of probate; succeeded in application for pre-emptive costs order (i.e. Beddoe order) for our client’s costs in the contentious probate action
